The family was severely impacted by the February 2024 fires near the Grampians. Thirty acres of their farm was burnt, 110 sheep got burnt, a large shed was completely burnt and the fence was burnt. The fire came as close as 50 metres to their house. They are experiencing financial hardship and are in need of money to buy food and winter clothes.
