Vulnerable and at risk of homelessness young people/families requiring heaters/electric blankets for colder months
Our youth homelessness team support a large number of young people experiencing disadvantage and sleeping rough in the eastern region of Melbourne. Many young people accessing our service have the same issues during the colder months of the year of having inadequate heating in the housing they are currently in, whether that's in disadvantage family homes, couch surfing, share housing and within our own transitional housing program.
We require support to distribute small space heaters or electric blankets to our most in need clients without access to proper heating in the home.
