Client is a Single mother- of 5 young people with special educational needs travels to school located 56 kms one way from home, doesn't meet the requirements of free bus travel. Parent is out of pocket significantly in sustaining educational commitments for high school student. Parent is required to travel or pay additional bus fees to have young person access educational facilities. Parent is also working and trying to maintain home in order to provide for household of 5. Household have been affected by DFV client has been working hard to rebuild their lives and support young family. Client is finding daily costs of living due to remote location dramatically increased in past 4 months. Client is working with Financial Counsellor to skill and capacity build in relation to their financial matters. Client is in need of fuel support to continue to have young people access suitable education commitments. Fuel Vouchers would greatly assist with this commitment to education expenses
