Young family seeking support to move into a house. Previous possessions lost in devastating flood.
Mother and her young family (three children under four years of age) were severely impacted by the Northern Rivers flooding disaster with the family home damaged and rendered uninhabitable. This led to the family being homeless and reliant on the generosity of family for accommodation. They have been residing in temporary accommodation at a pod village from August 2022. They have recently been approved for private rental for their previous property. This ideal situation means the family will be able to keep their young children in their current care arrangements and less impact with another relocation.
