The smart way for big-hearted Domino's team and customers to help people recovering from disasters
GIVIT inspires generosity to meet real need by providing essential items and services to people experiencing hardship.
Working with over 4,700 charities around Australia, GIVIT provides everything from grocery voucher and fuel vouchers for people in an evacuation centre during a flood, to whitegoods and appliances for a family moving into their new, rebuilt home after a bushfire.
As a National Disaster & Emergency Partner, support from Domino's Minds & Meals will help enable GIVIT to provide 100,000 essential items and services to Aussies impacted by natural disasters in 2025.
The list below shows exactly what's needed right now by people impacted by natural disasters. The list changes as requests are filled, and new needs are identified by recovery organisations providing disaster relief.

Our registered charity, Minds & Meals is really made possible through the generosity of our customers and franchise partners. Australians are renowned for rallying together in times of crisis, so we feel privileged to be able to partner with GIVIT to provide support to communities before, during and after disaster strikes

Frequently asked questions
At GIVIT we love helping people in need. We’re a national not-for-profit that partners with local charities and organisations to connect those in need with generous donors, ensuring that Australians experiencing hardship receive the essential items and services they need, when they need them most.
Our unique online donation platform allows you to give your way. Whether you’d like to donate money, items or time; our platform gives you the power to help a family recovering from a bushfire, a mum and her children impacted by domestic and family violence, or a young person living with disability. With GIVIT, the choice is yours.
Domino’s registered charity Minds & Meals is a GIVIT National Disaster & Emergency Partner. Through the partnership, Domino’s Minds & Meals will help enable GIVIT to provide 100,000 essential items to Aussies impacted by natural disasters in 2025. The partnership, which will not only be activated when a disaster strikes, will also help support community preparedness and recovery activities.
Your money goes where you want it to – how many charities can promise you that! When you donate to GIVIT you have the power to choose whether you want your hard-earned cash to buy a particular item requested on the website, whether you want to support a current appeal, or support GIVIT directly to keep doing the great work we do across Australia.
Hand on heart, we promise 100% of your donation received by GIVIT will be used to purchase essential items for a person in need. Your donation is incredibly powerful and makes a world of difference to local retailers who may also be experiencing hardship.
GIVIT’s staffing and operational costs are covered by government contracts and the great support provided by our donors and corporate supporters who choose to “Give it to GIVIT”. Thank you, we couldn’t keep helping people in need without your support. Your donation is helping us connect with more support organisations across Australia to assist people in need get exactly what they need, when they need it most.
Spending donated money in communities that are hurting is a big part of GIVIT’s philosophy. Your donated funds have an even bigger impact as you enable the purchase of exactly what is needed right now, but also support the local retailers who are employing local people, providing opportunity and lifeblood to a small town or disaster impacted region.
GIVIT is all about supporting local communities, and helping them in the way they want to be helped.
Australia is a big nation of givers, but time and time again we see that communities in need can be overwhelmed by well-meaning donations that are often not needed, or not needed right now. This means an intense effort is required to sort, store and ultimately throw away items that people gave thinking they would be helpful.
GIVIT exists to ensure giving is coordinated, and that donations do no harm to individuals, communities and the environment, especially in times of disaster.
