Living with a disability can be difficult – it can feel isolating, like life is going on around you, without you. Extended Families Australia exists to challenge that – we’re a group of people who believe that having joy in your life and being a part of your community is important for everyone.

We support children and young adults 0-40 and their families in Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula to build friendships and create meaningful connections within the community.

No matter who you are or where you’re from, there’s room to grow, learn and connect with Extended Families Australia.

Our vision is simple. We want to offer a Supertee medical garment to Australia’s sickest and bravest children as they embark on the toughest fight of their lives.
We want kids to be recognised as the true superheroes they are. We aim to alleviate their suffering and distress through distraction, comfort, and the wonders of imaginative play. Our loyal and highly motivated team will focus on our core vision while continuing to create more innovative products.
There are around 500,000 children a year needing the services of Australia’s hospitals. A significant number of these kids are diagnosed with a critical illness that requires long-term care. Our goal is to help a minimum of 28,000 of our sickest children by providing them with products and services for free. We can only do this thanks to amazing supporters like you!
The Supertee project is one of many innovative products and services operated under the Fair Fight Foundation.

Fair Game Australia

Fair Game Australia is a health charity with an innovative approach to reducing inequality for under-serviced Australians via the donation of recycled sports equipment. The DGR charity is an award winning grass-roots volunteer lead organisation making significant impact for thousands of Aboriginal and CALD Australians each year across remote and urban communities.

We have three core programs delivered by youthful volunteers in partnership with communities:

1. Recycle & Donate- “Breathing new life into your pre-loved sports equipment.”

2. Game On!- “Unique sport, fitness and wellness programs to get communities active.”

3. Healthy Communities- “Capacity building through health education.”

Fairbridge College

Fairbridge College is a not for profit curriculum and re-engagement high school that caters from year 7 to year 13. We have students from all walks of life, from 15 year olds who are independent minors to students who are under CPFS care. We re-engage students who have come out of detention centers and provide mental health care for all students. We have a range of teachers who do big things to help dis-advantaged youth re-engage with schooling.

Fairfield Hospital - Paediatrics

Our Children's ward has been designed to create a safe and friendly environment. Our unit has 12 beds and is staffed by experienced doctors and nurses. We have a close relationship with the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and have doctors on staff that work at both Fairfield and the Children’s Hospital.

Fairfield Women's Health Service

We are currently jointly auspiced by Bankstown and Liverpool Women's Health Centres (WHC). We are the only WHC out of 23 centres in NSW that was funded to prioritise and specialise in women from CALD and refugee backgrounds. We are a women-centred, trauma-informed and holistic service. We focus on early prevention. We have an all-female, multidisciplinary team of qualified, experienced and bilingual speaking practitioners that provide culturally sensitive and culturally appropriate service.

We offer client intake/information and referral, counselling, generalist and DV casework. We facilitate capacity-building information sessions and workshops, as well as health and wellbeing focused women's groups.

During the COVID pandemic, we offered flexible, adaptive and responsive mixed modes of service delivery including telehealth, online and face-to-face or any combination. We also offered food and emergency relief services to our most vulnerable clients.

Fairstart Early Intervention

We provide early intervention (speech therapy, occupational therapy, behaviour support) for children aged 0-12 with a disability in the Fairfield local government area.

Faithful Servants Incorporated

We provide food and clothing to the homeless and needy, and help women who are suffering with domestic violence, and single women who have it tough.
We provide a range of services, including food & drinks, clothing and winter necessities for rough sleepers, hygiene products, counseling & guidance to those who are oppressed and addicted, and help to those who are victims of DV.

Falls Creek Alpine Resort

Alpine Resorts Victoria, trading as Falls Creek Alpine Resort. Is a government non appropriated statutory authority. We manage the alpine resort crown land on behalf of Victorian state government, and also have municipal responsibilities for community who live in Falls Creek.

Families as First Teachers (FaFT) - Alekarenge

The Alekarenge families as first teachers program engages indigenous families to bring their 0-4 year old children into school and engage with early learning. We also offer cooking, a sleep area and many adult activities as well as parent capacity building sessions to continue to help parents and families be the best they can be for themselves and their children.

Families as First Teachers (FaFT) - Alpurrurulam

Alpurrurulam FaFT is a service which links parents and children living in remote communities with other services in community and around the state.
We also provide activities to help aid the growth and nurturing of young children.
We are a school-based organisation and currently operate on Alpurrurulam Community School grounds.

We work alongside remote, vulnerable Aboriginal Community families and their children under 4 years old to provide quality child- centred learning, adult learning opportunities and wellbeing support to help close the gap in education and health outcomes for our First Nation families
