Mission Australia - SHIFT

SHIFT provide outreach casework support for young people experiencing alcohol and other drug (AOD) use issues, connecting with them in environments where they feel safe & comfortable. Referrals can be accepted from any source, including the young person. SHIFT is a voluntary service where young people have the choice to engage. Goals and engagement are informed by the young person. The SHIFT team brings comprehensive, broad experience in complex case management. Every referral will be assessed for suitability and support levels will be determined on the needs and complexities of each individual young person. There is not a limit on the length or frequency of engagement. This is determined by the worker and the young person.

Mission Australia - Sobering Up Shelter - Katherine

Provides overnight accommodation to those under the influence of alcohol or other drugs and who have been delivered to the shelter by NT Police or Night Patrol. Shelter staff provide client referrals to other services which may be able to assist client focus group improve their lifestyles.

Katherine Sobering up Shelter is a 18 bed funded facility for intoxicated clients that need a safe place to sleep and rest for a minimum of 6 hours until they are deemed sober to re-enter back into the community.

Mission Australia - South West Sydney Child, Youth & Family Service - Bankstown

Target clients for Early Intervention Youth and Family Support Services stream are young people aged 12 to 17 years and/or their families who: are experiencing vulnerabilities that, if not addressed, are or have the potential to adversely impact on their health, safety or wellbeing.

Mission Australia - South West Sydney Youth Hub

SWSY Hub provides long-term accommodation for young people 16-21 years of age, who are studying or working and at risk of homelessness. The Hub aims to break the cycle of homelessness by supporting young people to stay in school, continue studying after school and increase employment. These young people often have no family supports and their primary supports come from services offered at the Hub.

Mission Australia - Stuart Lodge

Stuart Lodge is a 27/7 hostel which provide short term accommodation to homeless. Supporting singles and families who are experiencing homelessness.

Mission Australia - Sydney Homeless Early Intervention Service

Sydney Homeless Early Intervention Service (SHEIS) provides full case management services to young people, men, women and families where tenancies or housing are at risk and to prevent homelessness.
The service uses an Early Intervention model.
The office is located Marrickville and operates across the City of Sydney, Marrickville, Leichhardt, Canada Bay, Ashfield, Burwood, Strathfield and Canterbury Local Government Areas.
SHEIS is funded by the Department of Family and Community Services (FACS).

Tailored Support Coordination Service is a collaborative partnership between MA Housing Tasmania and MA Community Services to provide wellbeing support to tenants.

Mission Australia - Transition to Work

Mission Australia's Transition to Work works with young people aged 15-21 who have left school early, or who are having difficulty finding work after school. We help young people to develop the skills and confidence they need to move into work or ongoing education (including apprenticeships and traineeships), and we provide no-cost employment services for employers looking to recruit young workers.

Mission Australia - Youth Accommodation Support Service

YASS provides safe and secure crisis accommodation to young people aged 15 to 18 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness for up to 12 weeks.
YASS also provides transitional accommodation to young people aged 16-25 years old.

Mission Australia is a NGO organization who works with vulnerable people in the community to assist them so they can stand for themselves. The Brighter Futures Program has a focus on child protection and supporting families that are affected by Domestic and family violence, mental health issues, drug and alcohol issues, homelessness and intellectual delays.

Mission Australia Brighter Futures Program - Tablelands

The Brighter Futures Program delivers targeted services and support to families with children aged under 9 years or who are expecting a child, where the child/ren are at high risk of entering the statutory child protection system. The program provides families with the necessary support and services to help prevent an escalation of the problems they are facing. The Brighter Futures Program provides families with access to a wide range of flexible services and supports that cater for individual as well as family needs. These are combined through case management to achieve the improved outcomes. Program service components include: Case management. Home Visiting (structured one-to-one programs in the home), Parenting Programs (groups), Quality children’s services, Program aims to enable children to live safely at home and thereby: Reduce the rate of child protection reports, Reduce the rate of entry to and length of time in Out of Home Care, Reduce future demand for services.

Mission Australia IFS - Ipswich

Intensive Family Support (IFS) aims to improve the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children (aged 0-18) , and their family through the use of a range of flexible, tailored support services including case-management and access to a range of services that may include counselling, health interventions, and in-home supports. The service supports parents and carers through tailored interventions to build their skills and capacity to safely nurture and protect their children. Services engage with all family members who are willing to receive support.

Mission Australia Northern Sydney

The Northern Sydney team provides case management for homelessness and homelessness early intervention (SHS), Youth services, alcohol and drug, and complex mental health. We also provide family and children services and parenting programs.

Mission Australia RAI - Deception Bay

Referral for Active Intervention Service is an intensive family support service for families with children age between 0-18 years of age. We provide an outreach service to vulnerable and disadvantaged families to prevent them from entering the child protection system within the Moreton Bay and Somerset Region

Mission Australia WA - Maddington (Wattle House)

Wattle House, in Perth's south east region, is a Mission Australia hub of integrated service provision and delivery, which helps address clients' complex needs and circumstances. Wattle House's Family Support and Accommodation Service provides families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with transitional housing, case management and referrals, to ensure they obtain and maintain long term stable housing.

Mission to Seafarers Townsville

The MtS is an organisation for the welfare and well being of seafarers who visit the port as part of their work on vessels. It is a Christian faith based organisation working worldwide caring for the 1.6 million seafarers. We operate a canteen, bus service, chapel and recreation area at the Port of Townsville Qld and support individual and groups in need among the visiting seafarers.
