Our House Our Haven is a mental health nurse lead outpatient not-for-profit service for people with severe and complex mental health in the Ipswich and Lockyer Valley areas. Our professionals provide therapy and social support to meet the mental health needs and goals of our community within a unique hobby farm type environment.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School - Thursday Island

Small Catholic school striving to overcome the challenges of providing equitable education to students in the remote Torres Strait (off tip of Queensland). We are in a very remote, poorly serviced area. We teach Prep to Year 6 with two campuses on Hammond Island and Thursday Island. School of special character - predominantly First Nation students, high percentage English as Second Language Learners, low socio economic background.

Our Place LGBTIQA+ Drop-in - City Of Swan

Our Place is a LGBTIQA+ drop-in for young people aged 12-25yrs,
delivered in partnership with; The City Of Swan, headspace Midland, Swan City Youth Service and Youth Focus.
The service provides a safe space for LGBTIQA+ young people to build friendships, connect with support services and be themselves.

Outback Mobile Resource Unit Inc

The Outback Mobile Resource Unit Inc (or Mobile Toy Library) is a children's service providing both child care and play group sessions to children and families in the remote and isolated regions of Far Western New South Wales. We cover an area approximately 220,000 square km and travel to various towns, communities and properties, offering activities aimed at enhancing children's learning and social skills and providing support and resources to parents.
The program endeavours to cover all aspects of a child's development, including social development, gross and fine motor skills, cognitive ability, language and self-help and caters to children of all ages (0-12). The service provides activities that can teach these skills in a fun and interesting way.
The OMRU generally tries to attend each venue once every 3 or 4 weeks and are often required to spend up to three or four nights a week out of town.
We are funded by the Department of Social Services

Outcare - Tidda

Tidda supports women with undiagnosed or unsupported disability to transition and successfully reintegrate back into the community after leaving prison.

Funded by the Sisters of St John of God, the program works alongside women to ensure they have access to the skills, knowledge and means they need to live independently.

The Tidda team take a multidisciplinary approach to ensure clients receive a diagnosis and access long-term support via NDIS services and plan management. We work alongside people with unmet needs who face a range of barriers caused by physical, psychosocial or neurological disability.

Tidda case managers coordinate specialists to ensure long-term support is in place before release, and continue to provide ongoing support by
assisting clients with accommodation, employment and developing positive relationships with their families including children.

Outcare Ltd

Outcare specialises in working with people prior to and after their release from prison as well as those at risk of becoming embedded in the criminal justice system. We have a presence in every major correctional facility in the metropolitan area (except Wandoo) and deliver a range of services within the community. We run culturally specific programs for Aboriginal people, as well as specialist programs for people with cognitive disabilities and mental health issues. As families of prisoners need support, we offer a range of services to assist them and keep families connected.

Our practical support assists people to rehabilitate and reintegrate into the community. We can help with such aspects as:

finding steady accommodation
referral to health and addiction support agencies
helping to find a job
training and personal skill development
community engagement activities
emergency relief and financial assistance
general advocacy

Outloud

Operating since 1987, Outloud is a CALD-focused social impact arts organisation that creates meaningful opportunities for young people in Western Sydney. Our award-winning projects address nationally relevant issues on a local level. We specialise in early-intervention harm-reduction that celebrates the strengths of socially-marginalised young people and provides personalised individual support. Our projects bring together service providers and professional artists to create supportive platforms to help young people express and move through problems they are facing, while building a genuine community around themselves. We aim to build self-efficacy alongside social cohesion. We help young people create the future they want to see for themselves.

Overflow Foundation Limited

Overflow Foundation provides drug and alcohol support and mental health support to youth in the Logan area and surrounds. Overflow Foundation's Founder has worked in Logan for over 12 years and has a passion for helping children, young people, families, and the community change their lives for the better.

Oz Assist Inc

Oz Assist is a volunteer organization that provides support for residents of the local community, by assisting the disadvantaged, individuals, and families. In doing so we distribute food parcels/ food cards, petrol vouchers for medical and other transportation, utilities, back to school and new student’s needs, direct advocacy when required.

Oz Assist in its Advocacy works with Individuals or Families in "paving out pathways", this assists them to live their lives as normal as possible. The clientele we deal with, most have long-term problems dealing with all aspects of life which stops them from becoming productive members of society. We walk the journey with them and assist them when they have problems dealing with Government, State, and Local departments, Businesses, Banks, Family issues, and any other problem which cause them not to be able to function as well as they should.One of the main differences that Oz Assist has, is that it is different from other local charities.

Assistent Coordinator for Ozcare's HACC Homeless Outreach Program in Booval QLD; offering assistance for the homeless,or those at risk of homelessness.

Ozharvest - Refettorio

Ozharvest rescues and redistributes food. We also educate on minimising food waste. The refettorio restaurant offers a free lunch to anyone in need in the community.

Ozharvest - Sapphire Coast North Chapter

We provide food relief hampers to the homeless and vulnerable in the Eurobodalla and Bega Shires. Also assist with camping equipment and social support network advocacy.
This is as well as collecting rescued food and distributing to local schools, support services and a local indigenous community,

OzHarvest is Australias leading food rescue organization. OzHarvest rescues food and feeds it to people in need and stops it from going to landfill. OzHarvest in the NT also purchases food and hires a truck from Darwin and does a weekly delivery to all the remote indigenous communities in Kakadu.

OzHarvest is a not-for-profit, for-impact organisation that rescues good quality surplus food from commercial outlets and then delivers this food at no cost to local charitable organsiations that feed those in need.

Pacific Islands Mt Druitt Action Network Inc

Parent to Parent believes people are supported best by other who have similar life experiences. We delivery a quality service to people who have a disability by listening, respecting & supporting their goals. We are active in the NDIS space providing much needed Plan Management and Support Coordination as a not for profit organisation. Support Coordinators are working with some of the most vulnerable and complex people in our community. With support we aim to support NDIS participants to actively live good quality lives.

Parentline ACT Inc.

We aim to enhance parenting in our community. Our mission is to provide free, accessible and confidential support to the parenting community. To promote positive parenting and caring practices and to improve and enhance the lives and development of children and young people. We provide telephone and face to face counselling and online support. We aim to build on the existing strengths of parents, grandparents and carers. We have provided these services to communities in Canberra and surrounding region for nearly 40 years.
