Noongar Mia Mia - Boola Moort Tenancy Support Program

Noongar Mia Mia is Perth's only Aboriginal-led Community Housing provider, housing exclusively Aboriginal tenants in Perth metro, the Wheatbelt and Esperance.

Tenancy support isn’t a new idea, but cultural tenancy support is different. A lot of mainstream Community housing providers do tenancy support, but they’re not made by us or for us. They take a one-size-fits-all approach to anyone and everyone they work with, many don’t really understand our culture, and what culture means to us as our Birthrights.

We think it’s important for Noongar people and (Aboriginal people on Noongar Boodja) to have access to Noongar tenancy support workers, working in Noongar ways. That’s why we’ve started the Boola Moort Tenancy Support Program, which is all about Dignity, Respect and Choices. And we also make sure our voices are heard with all tenants.

Noro Music Therapy

Noro delivers life-transforming clinical music therapy and community music programs.

Music therapy is used for a range of challenges including disabilities, developmental delays, behaviours, mental health, neurological impairments and dementia.

We are at the forefront of music therapy, widely regarded as exemplars in our field, and innovators in how we operate. Every week, over 1,300 people (from small children to adults over 100 years old) rely on the evidence-based therapies Noro Registered Music Therapists use to achieve clinical goals, improve daily living and increase social and community participation.

There is a growing need for the therapies Noro delivers. We continue to expand our short and long-term programs to provide quality outcomes and assist more clients. We are also increasing our footprint, with 5 clinics across the Sydney metro area, and more planned.

North Australian Aboriginal Family Legal Service (NAAFLS)

NAAFLS is a community legal service providing professional, comprehensive and culturally safe assistance and advice to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims of family violence, in remote Top End communities in the North Territory.

North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency - Community Legal Education

The North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA) delivers high quality and culturally competent legal services to Aboriginal people in the Northern Territory.

In addition to our core legal practice in criminal and civil law, we provide law and justice related services that aim to ensure that Aboriginal people have real access to justice. NAAJA is funded by the Department of the Attorney-General and Justice and the National Indigenous Australian Agency (NIAA) to provide the following services to Aboriginal people and their families in the Northern Territory:

North Burnett Community Service

North Burnett Community Service provides a range of community services in the North Burnett including Services Australia (Centrelink, myGov, Medicare), mental health, community well being, information and referral, public computers and wifi, community transport and patient travel, emergency relief and community groups and events.

North East Community Support Group inc

Our program provides short term supported accommodation to families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

We provide secure affordable supported accommodation, Information, referrals across a range of services, assistance with budgeting, living skills and sustaining tenancy, and general tailored support.

North East Multicultural Association

North East Multicultural Association (NEMA) was established in February 2005 as the first ethnic community council in North East Victoria, with a vision to support existing and new migrants, raise cultural awareness, and promote the benefits of diversity. NEMA acknowledges the economic, cultural and social contribution migrants made to the region, and recognises the importance of cultural heritage through celebrations such as Harmony Day and the Diwali festival.

North Melbourne Community Centre

North Melbourne Community Centre (NMCC) is a community hub owned by City of Melbourne Council and managed by YMCA Victoria. We share the facility with City of Melbourne Family Services who offer maternal health services, and social services, as well as Drummond Street Youth Services and Brotherhood of Saint Laurence HIPPY.

We offer rooms for hire to local organisations, community groups and health and employment services; including homework clubs and tutoring services, social meetings for community groups, food kitchens, free sports programs, and much more. In total we have more than 30 organisations and services who use our spaces on a permanent and ongoing basis to support our local community.

Located beside the Sutton Street public housing towers, we have become a true community hub to support one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse areas in the City of Melbourne.

North Midlands Project Incorporated

North Midlands Project works to make the regional Western Australian communities of Carnamah, Coorow, Eneabba, Mingenew, Morawa, Perenjori and Three Springs (collectively the 'North Midlands') to be known for their happy, healthy communities and vibrant, connected towns. We deliver an annual program of health, education, arts, culture and heritage activities with the aim of improving access, connectedness, social cohesion and good mental health.

North Qld Domestic Violence Resource Service

Conduct a service in the North Qld region which provides direct support services, community education, training for service providers and coordination of domestic violence responses which actively promotes and enhances the safety of women and children involved in domestic and family violence.

North Queensland Combined Women's Services Inc

The Women's Centre Townsville provides a broad range of free community services for women and their families.
including, the Sexual Assault Support service,
a Specialist Homelessness Service and a Women’s Health Service. Also offers free counselling services to women over 15 in the Townsville region.

North Shore Community Centre

The North Shore Community Centre is a friendly, safe and welcoming space for our community to connect with others, improve and maintain physical and mental health, find support and be involved in their community.

North Shore Mums Smiles2U

North Shore Mums Smiles2U is a 100% voluntary charity which aims to bring care and comfort to the many children, adults and carers who pass through our Emergency Doors of our local hospitals every day.

We provide activity bags, toiletries and care packs to parents and children who find themselves in hospital unexpectedly.

We were created almost 6 years ago and are a Registered Charity. We support 8 hospitals across the North Shore and Central Coast.

Our philosophy is that everyone deserves the chance to smile. Even when life is at its hardest moment. A moment is all it takes.

North West Mental Health - NAMHS Hotham St Community Team

Hotham Street Community Team provides mental health care to over 600 consumers with severe and chronic mental illness. The service also provides care for those who may be experiencing an acute phase of their illness, or a crisis.
Care is provided from a multidisciplinary perspective, in a consumer oriented, recovery focused manner.

North West Mental Health NPARCS

We are a voluntary residential service for mental health recovery. NPARCS is run jointly by Northern Area mental health and our recovery partner, WellWays. Our participants might want a transition back home after hospital, or come from home wanting additional support for a period of time. We work together on people's recovery goals.

North West Sydney Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service

North West Sydney Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (NWSWDVCAS) provide women & their children experiencing domestic & family violence with case coordination, safety assessments, safety planning, information, referrals & court advocacy.
We provide intense case management support to our most at risk & vulnerable clients & assist with their legal, social and welfare needs. We have focus workers to help Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander women & women from multicultural backgrounds.
At Blacktown & Mt Druitt Local Courts we help women obtain legal protection through ADVO's, tailored to meet their needs. We also provide women with information & referrals to services, including but not limited to, legal services, accommodation, counselling, financial assistance & health Services.
We assist in conjunction with the NSW Police force to prepare women for Court Hearings with monthly DV Clinics & information necessary to prepare them for giving evidence at Court.

North West Youth Accommodation Service

NWYAS is a Specialist Homelessness Service which provides supported accommodation, case management and mobile support to young people at risk of, or experiencing homelessness.

Case Workers support young people and young families aged between 16 and 25 years old with developing the living skills and tenancy education required to manage indepednet housing in the greater community. Case Workers support young people to link in with services to address their identified concerns, which could include accessing services for mental health support, healthly relationships and counselling, parenting skills and emplyment and training.

Northampton District High School

Northampton District High School is located in the rural setting of Northampton, 54km north of Geraldton. Providing high quality education for the local community, it caters to children from Kindergarten to Year 10. Northern Area Community & Youth Services Inc

NACYS provides counselling/psychotherapy, case management, support, and advocacy for at risk and vulnerable members of the Northern and Outer Northern Adelaide communities, across the lifespan. Clients to the service typically have complex mental health issues, trauma backgrounds, child protection issues and alcohol and other drug concerns. Supports such as psychotherapy are not time limited and offered free to clients. NACYS has a 55 place long day childcare centre targeting the most at risk and vulnerable children.
